Anthony Green Pittsburgh Concert reviews
Love Roger & PF but I expected more.
As a fellow musician, I expected more from Anthony and way more respect for his fellow musicians. Pete Townshend once said something similar and I think that is absolutely true. Lots of theatrics, cool video, great supporting band, puppets, special effects and so on made the show overall unique and great. I thought Anthony actually played his bass on only 2 or 3 songs max and sang maybe half of them. I think he was more of an MC than anything. Geeze Anthony, do you think it would hurt you that much to give someone else trying to play or sing his heart out a plug? Yeah, he's getting up there a bit in years but nothing too difficult here. Also, no one ever mentioned the guys who picked up the slack and his amazing lead guitarist. First of all, the show was great. Sorry, as a fan and fellow musician, I just look at things a bit differently.
